In 2018 a tourist development by W Hotels Worldwide will be opened, an integrated brand in Marriot International.
This new resort will be "located on a 250,000 square meter seaside property," the group announced.
The new development will be located 500 meters from Praia do Evaristo and will be built from a project which had already started and approved for an aparthotel, which never got completed.
The hotel will be developed in partnership with Nozul Algarve, S.A., and will be the third ‘W Escape’ branded hotel in Europe.
Albufeira's latest hotel will have 134 rooms, two Presidential style suites and 81 W brand apartments which will be for sale.
