This funds will strengthen the corporate services in the social sector, such as speech therapy.
The grant, approved at a meeting of chamber, is to be used for the "renewal of three cooperation protocols between the two institutions and to ensure the strengthening of various services in the social area, emergency, health and child support," stated the municipality.
"There will be a reinforcement of the free services of speech therapy, increasing the number of specialty service hours for the general population, but especially for those people who have been affected by stroke or other conditions that limited their speech capacity”, it added.
