Native to Cortes Pereiras, parish Alcoutim, actor and director of the Experimental Theatre Alcoutim (TEA), Francisco Brás now brings to public "wealth of other times", as stated.
Based on an collection with over one hundred years, from the time of his grandmother, the initiative aims to show the richness of the ethnographic alcoutenejo county.
Garments, decorative elements and various tools are some of the objects that can be appreciated in this exhibition.
For the elders this will be a way to relive a whole epoch, for the youngest it will be an opportunity to exprience the customs and traditions of their ancestors.
"This exhibition premits the transmission from generation to generation, and the culture of a people lives on," says the alcouteneja authority.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30, at Casa dos Condes in Alcoutim. Admission is free.
