A young man was arrested whist driving the victim's car in Faro. Questioned by the PSP, he confessed to the killing of the owner of the car.
The English victim, aged around 60, was found dead at his home in Alcoutim, Algarve, this Tuesday early in the morning. The young Portuguese of 20 years was driving the car of the victim in Faro, and has been arrested in Faro. The 20 year old was stopped by PSP Faro around midnight, and was held for being driving without a driving license. When it was discovered that the car was not his, they asked the GNR of Alcoutim. they visited the residence of the vehicle owner, but there was no answer.
The official source of PSP Faro said that when the young man was questioned, he said that the car owner should be at home, "because they had an argument and he had killed him." The man has been stabbed.
The case is now being investigated by the Judicial Police, and the youngwho according to the SIC resides in Faro and has no work nor studies, remains detained.
