Born in Lisbon but resides in Alcaria of Javazes, Mértola, Orlando José practiced the profession of interior designer. Art collecting is an early passion to which he devotes much of his time.
With an enviable curriculum, Orlando José has a diverse spoil of antique objects. In this exhibition, the radios are the main characters of the plot and promise to take the older ones back in time and whet the curiosity of the young. The author confides, "The radios, called at the time "the wireless", are objects that provoke in us the nostalgia of listening without the picture interference. It worked just in our imagination."
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30, in the Casa dos Condes in Alcoutim. Admission is free.
