The meeting includes a round trip ride to Amoreira beach, starting at 11:00 am in the square next to the castle, a snack on arrival to the beach and, on the return, a picnic in the castle from 15:00.
Inserted into the DiVaM program - Stimulation and Enhancement of the Algarve Monuments, this meeting seeks, according to the organizers, "to create bonds between people who like old bicycles and promote sharing of knowledge and memories linked to the use of this vehicle."
It is not a sporty-event, participation in the round trip Amoreira Beach is free but requires prior registration, to be formalized with the organization by completing the registration form available on www.tertulia-aljezur. blogspot.pt.
Participants should take their bike (with brakes that work) and helmet, and may attend only the meeting, at 10:30 am, or participate in all or just part of the scheduled activities. Confirmation of registration and accreditation will be carried out between 10:00 and 10:50 at the Aljezur Castle.
