The largest on record was presented this Saturday, May 21, at the Feira Terra de Maio at the Multipurpose Center in Azinhal.
90 centimeters in diameter and about 250 times larger than normal, 160/180 grams. The production of the fresh cheese involved two people and about two and half hours.
One hundred and seventy liters of milk, about a kilo and a half of sea salt from Castro Marim and about 25 grams of thistle are the ingredients that led to this fresh cheese that, according to the deputy mayor, will compete for the Guinness World Records.
The only peculiarity is that it was done in four parts, three of them with plain cheese and one with addition of oregano
