Two bodies have been found in an advanced state of decomposition in the Vale Frio area in Castro Marim, Algarve.The two bodies were located near a stream and were found by a local resident.Apparently it is a man and a woman.
The Criminal Police (PJ) was on site to perform an investigation and around 15h30 the bodies were taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine where they will be identified and then to know the cause of death.
The man and woman were found leaning against each other, one of them had head injuries and the woman inside her jacket had a child's teddy and a backpack between her legs.
