After waiting for funding since 2010, the project of the Conservation and Restoration of Modules de Taipa Almóada of the Castle of Paderne now has green light to advance.
It is considered as a Property of Public Interest .
The funding for the intervention comes from the application made in 2016 to CRESC ALGARVE 2020, which guarantees 60% of the value needed, the remaining value was achieved through 2 collaboration protocols signed between the Algarve Regional Directorate for Culture, Albufeira Municipality and the Bank Millennium bcp.
The project regards mainly the tower which is a historical heritage, namely the beauty for the visits to the top.
The total value of the intervention will be to the amount of 591,000 euros over the next two years. In 2017 the total investment will be 131,921.49, including the planned 4-month work for Torre Albarrã. For the second year concluding the remaining work in the estimated amount of 459,271 euros.
