What Is Vaginal Flatulence (Queef)?
Vaginal flatulence, also known as a "queef," is an emission of trapped air from the vagina.
A queef produces a sound that's similar to anal flatulence, but vaginal flatulence doesn't have a specific odour.
Causes of Vaginal Flatulence Women report experiencing vaginal flatulence as a result of:
Sexual intercourse or inserting an object in the vagina: When something is inserted into the vagina, it can displace the air inside.
Exercise or stretching: Movements during exercise can cause air to become trapped inside the vagina.
Pregnancy or menopause: Some women report more episodes of vaginal flatulence during pregnancy or menopause.
Childbirth Pelvic floor weakness can occur as a result of childbirth and may lead to vaginal flatulence. Sometimes a very weak pelvic floor can result in a vaginal or pelvic organ prolapse, in which part of your vaginal canal protrudes from the opening of the vagina.
You need to release the Vaginal air, because trapped air causes for some people :
-breathing problems (asthma)
- Heart air
-kidney air
-high blood pressure
-miscarriage
-can’t get pregnant
-early menopause
