São Gonçalo de Lagos Hospital sponsors and gives its name to the Lagos Mini Marathon.
Mini Marathon Hospital S. Gonçalo de Lagos is the new name of the 5,500 meter race that is part of the 29th Marina de Lagos Half Marathon and will take place on May 14 at 10:00 am on the main streets of Lagos.
In addition to giving its name to the test, the support of the Hospital S. Gonçalo de Lagos will consist of three initiatives.
he Mobile Health Unit of the Hospital São Gonçalo de Lagos will be available for screening, where it will be possible to assess blood pressure and measure blood glucose levels. Also physiotherapists will perform recovery massages for the athletes to ease anye discomforts, minor pains and prevent future injuries.
Finally, folders will be distributed with information on Healthy Eating and Sun Care, in order to raise awareness among the population on these issues.
