Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival at VVP

In September, VILA VITA Parc welcomes for the second time the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival, “Europe's greatest Soul, Funk & Jazz Party at the Atlantic Ocean”

The Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival, organized by Smooth Entertainment, that gathers the biggest and best international names in jazz, soul and funk, will be returning for the second time to VILA VITA Parc, from the 27th September to the 1st October 2017.

Amongst the confirmed names are the pianist and trombone player Brian Culbertson, author of 7 top 3 Billboard jazz chart albums, and the vocalist, composer and producer John Stoddart, on the 28th September.

On the 29th September, the festival continues with Larry Braggs, the 2 times Grammy nominee vocalist, followed on the same day by Kirk Whalum, Grammy winning and 12-time nominee saxophone player, with 25 solo albums and once Whitney Houston’s saxophone player.

On Saturday, 30th September, the festival will also be featuring the saxophone player Jackiem Joyner, the Grammy winning vocalist and guitarist Paul Brown, the guitarist Paul Jackson Jr. as well as saxophone player Richard Elliot, both Grammy nominees.

On the last day, 1st October, saxophone player Tom Braxton, musical director of the legendary bass player Wayman Tisdale for 17 years, as well as the pianist Keiko Matsui, with over 27 solo albums and 1,5 million copies sold worldwide, will be closing the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival with a golden key.
